The Magic of Yoga It's all about the breath...

In a world of constant attention grabs and multi-tasking, analyzing the past, or planning the future, yoga uses the breath to pull us entirely into the present moment. We shift out of the analytical mind dropping directly into felt experience.

What we learn on the mat translates to what happens off the mat. Using our breath to stay present through discomfort or finding steady alignment in a challenging posture, we build the inner strength and emotional resilience to handle the challenges of life with grace.

Discover a unique approach to health through mindful movement

Did you know?

  • 14 Million Falls: One in four older adults (65+ ) experiences a fall each year.
  • The Risk Doubles: Falling once doubles the risk of falling again
  • The Severity: One out of every five falls causes a serious injury (Head or Hip)
  • Hip Fractures: More than 95% of hip fractures in older adults are caused by falls.

A regular Yoga practice can:

  • Offer better posture and balance
  • Help to relieve tension
  • Relax the body
  • Increase strength, stamina and energy.

I specialize in teaching inclusive, heart-centered yoga to seniors, older adults and anyone looking for a more mindful approach to their practice. I  focus on the two pillars of graceful aging: physical strength & flexibility and sustaining emotional balance.

My classes are an open, low-pressure space where we prioritize intentional movement to maintain health and improve balance, all while cultivating deep, intentional breathing to calm the nervous system and increase somatic awareness.

Every session is safe and accessible, always including options for chairs and support, I endeavour to help people maintain their independence and enjoy a better quality of life in a nourishing, welcoming environment.

Return to the foundational roots of yoga. Align & Breathe Hatha is a classic, steady practice that honors the traditional union of physical posture (asana) and breath control (pranayama). This class invites you to slow down, holding classic postures with mindful intention to build true structural integrity, balance, and strength.

Each session begins with dedicated breathwork to calm the nervous system and steady the mind. From that centered space, we move into a sequence of deliberate, held postures with a distinct focus on safe, functional alignment. With a slower pace and longer holds, there is time to truly inhabit each shape and breathe through it cultivating a deep internal presence—leaving the mat feeling clear, spacious, and thoroughly grounded.

Perfect For: Al levels. Ideal for anyone seeking a classic, authentic yoga experience that prioritizes alignment and breath over pace
Style: Hatha Style Instead of linking a series of postures we take each posture individua ly with longer holds and a focus on the breath..
