About
At True Balance Yoga With Devon I use the body and the breath as the doorway into wellness. Whether seated, standing, or using a chair for support, the movement is intentional practicing awareness and attention. We notice the breath, feel the feet and the spine, the neck, the hands and arms. We move through the transitions and notice the way the body responds. This is all about adaptability and working with the body not forcing it into shapes that may not work just for that day. Each day is unique and what may feel easy today may seem impossible tomorrow. I meet you where you are and show you where you can go.
Discovering Authentic Movement Through Mindful Practice
Many people think of yoga as just stretching or physical poses, but the physical practice is only one part of yoga. In the broader tradition, yoga includes breath work, concentration, self-awareness, and practices that support steadiness of both body and mind.
Yoga is not only a physical practice. It is mindful movement that brings together the body, the breath, and the mind. The connection of breath with movement will improve strength, balance, posture, and flexibility. But the deeper value of yoga is that it asks us to pay attention while we move.
I am passionate about empowering people to feel more comfortable and confident in their bodies and minds. Join me in creating a sustainable, supportive practice that enhances your day-to-day life and keeps you feeling centered, resilient, and joyful.

Qualifications and Teaching Philosophy
My professional background includes over 10 years working with seniors and their families in all respects. Ive helped find more supportive housing when that was needed and listening deeply when they just needed to talk. As someone who is approaching my own senior years, I understand the knees that ache and the lower back that talks to me in the morning. I relate to the physical effects of a life well lived. I have been personally practicing yoga for more than 20 years and can speak to the magic contained in this ancient practice. i believe everyone should breathe better and practice yoga for their overall well being. I am dedicating my life to sharing my love of the benefits of yoga with all my students. My teaching represents more than credentials on a wall—it reflects deep study, practical application, and an unwavering commitment to serving my students with integrity.Â
